Avgeek. Western Australia but often in U.S. and U.K.. Harvard and Yale alum. I travel extensively and spend way too much time studying COVID.
Our 7-seat school board has 3 right wingers who belong to the same McChurch on it. The McChurch has been breaking federal law by pushing its congregation to vote for a fourth member. If this dude wins, our city (6th largest in MO by population) will have a school board controlled by nutsos from a single McChuch. This is why #seperationofchurchandstate is important. Also tax law. #TaxTheChurch
Follow the money, folks. The biggest institutional investor in the Truth Social SPAC is Susquehanna Int’l Group. It was co-founded by GOP billionaire Jeffrey Yass, who is also a major investor in the parent of TikTok. Trump recently did a 180 on banning TikTok. Wonder why?
I think it unlikely that #Trump wins next year but the fact that he’ll almost certainly get a major party’s nomination and could go on to win is just such a stark indictment of Americans’ intellectual capacity. It’s kinda bonkers when you step back and think about it. #Election2024
👋 Hello, new followers! We're the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia, both a university museum and the official state art museum. We celebrated our 75th birthday in 2023, and we have a collection of around 20,000 objects: American paintings, decorative arts, works on paper, much more. Mastodon feels like a good place for us given our academic and public focus. ❤️
