@me That is crazy. I assumed gender markers existed since passports existed. I had heard people call for removing gender markers before - since they aren’t really a “measurable” attribute, but I didn’t realize that this was not a radical idea.

@mitchellh @lkanies I think the people reacting like that are a mix of generally disturbed individuals and people expressing their powerlessness in what a lot of people consider a totally inappropriate way.

I assume a lot of this is because regulatory measures to limit accumulation of wealth have not worked.

@zmz @mcc my feeling is that at least one regular maintainer must reasonably use only nix to build the project (and let CI do sans nix) to ensure that the nix workflow actually works. otherwise, it becomes a giant mess
