I’m just a guy who codes. Sometimes I wax poetic on my chosen craft. I also geek out over Tabletop Gaming, Mini Painting, and Writing.

Fun fact, visual studio used to put a header comment “This file was generated by a tool” on any autogenerated files. My coworker submitted a bug that the wording could be misinterpreted as an insult.

@ellyArcaRays @_Jizzabelle @ericmetaxas One of my favorite moments in life as an expat was explaining to a non-native English speaker that calling someone a “tool” did not mean they were useful. 👍👍👍

C# is a language. It compiles to IL which is platform independent bytecode. It runs anywhere the .NET runtime (or other CLI compliant host) runs. Which includes MacOS, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Android, iOS, Unity (which runs on PC, Linux, Mobile, and all the major consoles).

When I worked in the server room for a major hospital, I shadowed one of the field techs as part of my orientation experience. He joked about paying attention to where you plug the patch cables. “Don’t be a jack off like me”

Your music catalog is like storm trooper marksmanship…no hits

If I were a rapper, I’d so work that into my lyrics. #Maythe4thBeWithYou

2. Is so true. I’ve given dozens of talks. I sweat profusely every time. No matter how well prepared I am.

@itsmedanip 1. Every single person who has ever given a talk gets nervous. 2. Some people who give talks all the time, get nervous every single time.
3. The audience wants you to succeed.

Hopefully this doesn’t duplicate the proximity signal. Also, now I’m paranoid about using valet service because they can just copy my garage signal (but my opener uses a rotating signal that has to be paired with the remote).
