Do any of you recall the account of the Tooter behind the MyGov Authenticator source review, that’s now at the Administrative Review Tribunal? (https://openmygov.au)

Interesting development in the myGov platform and iOS app - as of yesterday, they’ve just updated it to support TOTP Authenticator apps.

The situation in the US continues getting more fucked up ... if they're so supposedly good at high-tech war then the only reason for bombing and killing a whole school of kids is that THEY INTENDED TO. How is that not pure evil?

What happened to all the Americans fighting for the right to bear arms precisely for when their government was over-reaching? Suddenly silent. Hugging their guns gleefully at home one can only assume.

And now dragging its "allies" into it too, like Australia. C'mon Albo, show some guts and call them out. #auspol

CBA is cutting 300 more Australian jobs while talking about upskilling workers. But here is what they are not telling you.
While handing out redundancies here, they are on a massive hiring spree in Bangalore with staff numbers up 21 percent to nearly 6,800. Right now, job ads in India are openly seeking people to do the work being cut in Sydney, including a senior finance analyst role to transition work from the Australian team.
The Finance Sector Union caught them running 30 online job ads for India roles with the same titles as the ones being axed here. This is a pattern, not a coincidence.
Meanwhile, they just pocketed a record 10.25 billion dollars in profit.
Upskilling is not a worker strategy. It is a PR shield for offshoring while the profits pile up.

Union says CBA plan to cut 300 jobs 'totally unacceptable'

The Commonwealth Bank is expected to cut 300 jobs, a move slammed by the union as "totally unacceptable" in the wake of $5 billion in half-yearly profit.

This is a real time recording of my git server's web access logs. It's a constant stream of requests from "Claude" attempting to access every possible item on the site.

A couple of months ago, I set up a rule to return an error code for every request its user agent makes. It has not retrieved a single valid item for many, many weeks at this point. Every request is immediately and abruptly terminated.

It hasn't even slowed down as a result.

Tell me again how their operation involves "intelligence" of any kind.

Resonates: “Tax the extractors, not the exhausted.”

Not sure about the historic reasoning, but I can't fault his sentiments.

"What's been happening in Minneapolis has been so egregious and awful
and so destructive to our community,"
shop owner Gilah Mashaal said of
federal agents' use of aggressive tactics.

It was obvious to her and Neary how the shop would protest.

They pulled out their knitting needles and got to work.

Neary created the pattern that has now become the well-known
"Melt the ICE" hat,

a red beanie-shaped cap topped with a braided tassel.

Since making the pattern availablefor $5,
the shop has raised nearly $400,000, Mashaal said Friday.

So far, she said, they have donated a total of $250,000 to two local nonprofits
focused on housing support for immigrants in the community
— STEP (St. Louis Park Emergency Program)
and the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.

The red hat has become a movement in the crafting community,
popping up on social media and reaching other countries.
