*Bravata* by Omar Lobato (@seigneurrrr) is an emotional, dynamic and expressive work of #GenerativeArt.

My fellow Atelier writer @deuspoeticus took a deep dive and wrote an article about it that I recommend you to read. Here, I want to show my favourite outputs from a project that I feel didn't get the attention it deserves.

Calculated Imperfection: Bravata by Omar Lobato

Bravata by Omar Lobato is scheduled for release in collaboration with Atelier on December 4th, 2023, on fx(hash). The abstract generative artwork is part of the Atelier group show, Outliers. Adopting the subtle craft of calculated imperfection as an aesthetic approach, Bravata aims to demonstrate the capabilities of the very visual language it was built upon. Narrating Abstraction Originally coming to us from Latin, the word, bravata is from the Brazilian artist’s native language, Portuguese. Co

Professionally, I teach students grades 2-5 technology like the block-based coding language Scratch. It's a great job. So for #genuary26 - I went with 'My kidS could have made that" and used Scratch to make my sketch today.

Hello all, I have joined genart.social today and thanks to Andre.

I want to start the first post by Halo.

"kylt" by @phlins makes me think of it as random pages from a flip book of a building's destruction.

The images' grid structures seem to be blown apart by a storm of apocalyptic proportions, and that storm might have torn into the flip book, too, scattering the pages in the air. Now that TENDER has put the #fxhash #generativeart project on its icon list, I have finally put together a deca.art gallery with a possible sequence of some iterations.

2/5 "Visa to the stars" by Christophe "Ulu" Choffel was released on May 3, 2022.

The images feel like illustrations for a space opera yet to be written. The artist names a series of NASA posters depicting fictional exoplanet tourism as their inspiration: "Exoplanet Travel Bureau".

3/5 The resulting scenes show detailed and colourful vistas of planets, futuristic cities, starships and space stations. If we can't go to places like these ourselves, we should at least dream of them. "Visa to the stars" can be our inspiration.

4/5 "MEGASTRUCTURES" by Kyle was released on May 14, 2022.

The epic images make me imagine stories of ancient, advanced civilisations that thrived and dwindled millenia before ours.

The aliens left huge, dissolving structures in various levels of completeness and disarray as incomprehensible monuments to their achievements in distant star systems, and the computer generated images that were created from the first scan data are breathtaking.

5/5 "The Passage" by yenren was released on May 31, 2022.

I immediately felt a special connection to the minimal, sober artworks of this project. Basically, they consist of just a multitude of lines set at an angle, yet the artist manages to open up valleys, arches and chasms.

Yenren created an iconic symbol of what generative art is meant to be: building worlds for us to explore.

"Emergence" by @aether has been my phone's lock screen for the most part of 2023.

Having an artwork in front of your eyes this often quickly creates a special connection, and in this case, it grew to represent the person I got it from (who is a lovely human and friend).

The vibrant, contrasting colours and small, unexpected details and textures are really wonderful!
