Labor Day: the day where we give thanks to the laborers that keep this country running.

AKA the day where laborers' jobs are made harder because all of their material suppliers took the day off and business is busier because all the office workers are out.

(Just an amusing thought that I, a baker, have every year.)

Oh no help I love #palia

I went to three in-person conferences this summer. All asked attendees to COVID test every other day.

The first "encouraged" masks, and had a COVID outbreak.

The second "encouraged" masks, and had 10 percent positivity by the second to last day, at which point they started requiring masks.

The third REQUIRED masks indoors, and had zero positive COVID tests.

Just once in my life I want the opportunity to tell my husband "yesterday you said you'd call Sears"
Proof that intense summer heat is bad for you: It makes you unable to get off your couch and you start getting weirdly into Warframe.
Not every day is filled with victory. Not every day is one we wish to remember. But we must endure those days to get to the ones that bring us triumph, and joy, and celebration. If not today, if not tomorrow, then some other: glory awaits.
Kahless tells is that the darker it is, the more the smallest light stands out. A true warrior tries to be a light in the darkness, a beacon to others of honor to find and join and blaze all the brighter, and push back the dark together.
Tonight we're watching Dagon. This guy looks SO much like Jeffrey Combs I'm wondering if he was unavailable and the casting director just said "eh find me the closest thing you can."
Oh I'm sorry, the plot is actually about a child abduction and extorting a family in witness protection. My bad.
