When I retired only around 25% of Full Professors in STEM were women. I was proud be one of them, and to support the success of fellow women in STEM through mentoring. This was not an organic process. It took hard work and persistence. And now The Regime is setting us back decades.

NIH grant terminations affected women scientists more than men, study finds

A new paper shows that women, particularly those early in their careers, have been disproportionately affected by NIH grant terminations.

The final piece of the central tower of Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia has been laid in place,
bringing the church to its maximum final height 144 years after work began.

After several days when it has been too windy to work,
the upper section of the 17 metre-high four-sided steel and glass cross was winched into position at 11am on Friday,
completing the tower dedicated to Jesus Christ.

At 172.5 metres, the Sagrada Familia, to which the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí devoted the later part of his life, is Barcelona’s tallest building and the world’s tallest church.
As the Catalan and Vatican flags were raised, Jordi Faulí, the chief architect for the project, said:
“It’s been a joyful day, wonderful for all the people who have made it possible.”

New article on too many satellites and ways that we SHOULD be allocating orbits (by Gregory Radisic with me as second author) https://theconversation.com/too-many-satellites-earths-orbit-is-on-track-for-a-catastrophe-but-we-can-stop-it-275430

Been up for about 30 minutes and I already got a media inquiry. Nice.

Too many satellites? Earth’s orbit is on track for a catastrophe – but we can stop it

Cultural, spiritual, and most environmental impacts aren’t taken into account when launching thousands of satellites.

Happy "Most Dangerous Negro" day to all who celebrate!

If you survey US people and ask them if MLK Jr's assassin worked alone, or was part of a conspiracy:

* 66% of white Americans say conspiracy.
* 100% of Black Americans say conspiracy.

100%. Everyone.

Because *some* white Americans know about the group that Bill Sullivan ran, but almost all Black Americans know about it. 🤷🏿‍♂️

It's possible to study "US History" in an American school, get an A in the class, and have never even heard COINTELPRO. Because the term is not even part of the official US history curriculum.🤡

This in a country that claims to care so much about "free speech."
