Done! I started with an unopened MK4S kit and a Core One upgrade kit. Not too hard to work out and make the MK4S assemblies the upgrade kit assumed I had. Great kit, detailed instructions! Calibration trouble-free except for Z-axis, my fault, I put the lead screw nuts on upside down, they collided with XY gantry at top. Installed correctly with flanges facing down and perfect prints. Now looking at incredible range of printable accessories, first up will be alternate sheet storage.

I feel someone at Amazon priced this wrong… GSR12V-140FCB22 is the less powerful model, but with all the drive adapters, two 2Ah batteries and charger at CAD$125? That’s about the price of a single battery + charger normally! I’m gonna be like Norm Abram with a drill just for the countersink bit 😁

In an airport drinking Shiner Bock. It’s OK in a kind of bland, hydrating way. Surprisingly dark caramel colour makes me wonder about artificial colours?
