So Trump actually looks like Star Wars' Palpatine IRL in a weirdly prescient bit of makeup design. Or I guess like the Cantina band, the bum-headed ones.

As leaders go, Trump is barely this side of plant life and losing ground at an accelerating rate.
Anyone looking at the United States right now is realizing that if Trump could only deliver all of the racism AND low gas prices, his approval would skyrocket.
That the death camps are pluses for him, not deal breakers, is the real shocker in this. The World War 2 Germans claimed not to know about theirs. Americans do not have that excuse. Their eyes are wide open to what's happening and the right wants more and the left thinks it has a legislative alternative that soft-soaps the purges.

Americans seem utterly unaware that the entirety of their federal government and all of its military, law enforcement and incarceration powers will be used to maintain its power and destroy theirs.

It's like a teen horror movie where the monster has picked off three of them and they're still thinking the three walked back to the city while the monster has sized the rest up for dinner and we the audience already know.
The storyline is still a jumbled mess 14 hours in. You discover it a bit at a time from finding old logs and such from the now presumably dead or no-longer-human other survivors of the crash that put you here.
You are on the wrong planet, you're dying from being incompatible with it but apparently if you get too compatible with it, the Corporation AI will stop reprinting you when you die. And there are a lot of ways to die.
I know Subnautica as a series is more into getting you to respect the indigenous wildlife that can eat you so you get out of its way rather than go homicidal on it but in the previous two games, while it was difficult and time consuming, if some critter sufficiently got on one's tits enough, it was possible to wear them down and eventually kill 'em.
I miss that in this game after getting gobbled a few times and reprinted sans goodies.
I want the wildlife to worry about me in its face some too.
