This server seems to have taken a huge hit from new arrivals today, presumably because it's the default one (I don't think there was much choice when I originally signed up). Going to try switching to another... apologies for any drilling and mess.

This time, though, I'm making a more concerted effort to find and follow the people I like from Twitter... y'know, just in case it really does all fall apart this time.

You can instantly tell whether Twitter is going through a wobbly patch by seeing how recently I've rediscovered my Mastodon account and refreshed the profile pics and info. AMAZING!
@Solobasssteve Yep, just ended up at the same place! Seems good, reminds me of a Twitter client I liked... Echofon, I think.
@Solobasssteve Ah yes, looks like things are moving. The list on the Mastodon help page only covers iOS and Android, but Google throws up a few.

... so, in summary, that's how the pineapple got there. It's bloody embarrassing, and I still can't get it out. Those poor children are inconsolable and I can't even remember which A24 layby it all happened in. End. 25/25
