for the last 20 years ive had the habit of not organising my files, id have a working folder that i would do everything in, when it would get too cluttered id just make a new folder and start working from there and archive the old folder, this is not a good organising system as i have recently found out while cleaning up these archive folders on my server after deciding that my then current backup system was not ideal (ie no backups) and setting up a nas for backups
Adding a disk to global shares in unraid is trivial until you forget to restart and the whole emhttp folder disappears and nowhere is it mentioned that restarting restores the folder
That’s 3 hours I’ll never get back
