New video essay about abuse. Not as bad as it sounds.

Should we end suffering? Yes. Like, of course. What the hell? How could you even ask such a thing!

Suffering

Hamas committed mass murder. Israel is attempting genocide. They are both monstrous acts of different scales.

It's INSANE how platforms we use to spread information are so badly managed that journalism and in-depth research are thrown under the bus, while con-artists and misinformation are allowed to roam free with barely any repercussions for abusing the system...

The BBC's experiment with Mastodon is pathbreaking in English-language news -- a major organization setting up its own instance. They've really thought this through. Key language:

"We're using social.bbc as the domain, so you can be sure these accounts are genuinely from the BBC. And by linking to and from the BBC’s website, we have verified our identity on Mastodon."

Not sure how many will have experienced with ATSV as I do, because I went in without knowing it was a 2-parter, so it ended with such a powering swell. Rewatching it now with that sequel knowledge is a different experience. Holding onto that feeling going into BTSV will be wild.
AHHHH!! I need this script to stop growing! I need to finish making this video!!!
My brain is not doing the thing very well.
