The OpenAI/TBPN acquisition still puzzles me days later. OpenAI gets an 11-person team for corporate comms (really?), while TBPN trades a growing, profitable, independent media business for $100M and inevitable credibility loss. Will OpenAI competitors still appear as guests? Kyle Chayka's right though - media brands should get the bag while they can.
