@sixcolors The other huge difference between the Vision Pro and Cosm (which I hadn't heard of before) is that Cosm is something you do with other people, whereas the Vision Pro is inherently isolating. A group experience at Cosm sounds fun. Watching sports alone on a Vision Pro sounds sort of sad.

@bbusschots @podfeet Thanks! I didn't feel that my words flowed as smoothly as they do sometimes, but I hope the sense came through that it's interesting (and potentially freeing) to think of our brain analogies as personal LLMs.

@jsnell Umm, if it has an A19, and Apple has just shown it can make the MacBook Neo with an A18 Pro, what's stopping Apple from turning this into a 27-inch iMac Neo besides a little storage? It probably couldn't support all the ports in Mac mode, but that would make the $1600 a lot more palatable if you got a Mac with it.

@gruber @dmoren I'd love to know if there are klaxons going off somewhere in Cupertino and sweating geeks being addressed by a drill sergeant-like product manager. "FIX THE SITE NOW!"

Still getting blown-out CSS for the iPhone 17e tech specs page in all browsers. https://www.apple.com/iphone-17e/specs/

And it's not appearing on Apple's site. @gruber linked to a comparison page that's now not showing it so it must have been there before. Perhaps a CDN failure?

@simon Not that it isn't way more fun to vibe code an app, but using Arc with pinned tabs would provide exactly what you want. If only The Browser Company wasn't busy deprecating Arc in favor of Dia, which lacks most of what makes Arc cool in favor of a sidebar chatbot.
