The award recognizes a local leader who has gone above and beyond in assisting ACS and/or the local progressive community to advance a vision of the Constitution and law which enhances individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy, and the rule of law.

The ACS Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter is now accepting nominations for the Fifth Annual Justice David L. Lillehaug Award for Distinguished Leadership. Nominations are accepted through December 15.

Nominate a leader for the David L. Lillehaug Award for Distinguished Leadership award

The David L. Lillehaug Award for Distinguished Leadership was established to recognize a local leader who has gone above and beyond in assisting ACS and/or the local progressive community. The award recognizes a "leader in the local progressive legal community, including advancing a vision of the Constitution and law which enhances individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy and the rule of law." ACS will announce the finalists and allow for members of the Board of Advisors and the Board of Directors to vote on the recipient. Nominees cannot currently hold elected office.
