It's now warm enough that I could come home after work and have all my windows open for a few hours to air the place out. Very nice.
I had the same issue as last time where Postgres just thrashed uselessly trying to restore the database and I didn't just kill it after the first day and restart so that wasted a bunch of time.
The SSD the Pleroma VM disk (and the proxmox operating system) was stored on died, so I had to order a replacement, recreate all my other VMs, and then restore Pleroma from my database backup.
Glyph@suzannealdrich one of my coworkers at EA once joked that watching me use Emacs was like watching someone play a fighting game really well, and I spent the next 3 weeks writing a lisp program called "emacs-kombat.el" that would track my combo streak and print out ringside announcer type messages in the minibuffer based on how many modifier keys I was using
sadly this hooked way too deep into the input handling in emacs to be generally maintainable and it is lost to time but it was a good gag

Dumped out years worth of expired hand warmers from the bottom of the ski bag and decided to test them. Ironically some of the ones that expired in 2015 got the warmest, followed by the ones that expired in 2014.
