Following cutting their video streaming resolution in Europe to SD to help with the demands of a quarantined population, Netflix and YouTube have announced that similar measures will be in place to conserve bandwidth on the Australian internet. From tomorrow, all video streams will be capped to a maximum resolution of 352x288 PAL. A spokesperson has said that the restrictions should allow the NBN to cope with the unprecedented surge of demand.
