What does the A-Camp stand for?

The A-Camp is a place where we can come together to talk about what this path that leads us to a human society can look like. To talk about what a human society will look like. To talk about what steps we can take right now to move towards a human society.

It’s an anarchist meeting because we think that a human (liberated) society must eliminate domination as such. We do not want to replace the current rulers with other rulers, but to abolish domination and coercion. We are convinced that we can only live together humanely if we are free to decide what we want to do and what we don’t want to do. Without coercion, we will not (just) lie around lazily, but do the things that are important to us – or finally be able to think and talk about what is actually important to us. We want a radically different organization of society, we don’t want one person to be able to tell another what the other person has to do. We want to decide together what our society should look like. That’s why the group organizing this camp will dissolve with the first meeting of the get-together: we are only creating the framework for the get-together. Everything that happens during the camp will depend on what the people going there want. What we will talk about, how we will spend time together, depends on what questions, ideas and experiences all of us bring to the camp.

Your program at A-Camp!
As in previous years, we will try to make the program as non-hierarchical as possible.
This means: everyone can contribute program points if they are interested!

During the camp, as always, this will happen through a daily program on a board where everyone can simply write down their inputs/workshops/etc., but if you already have an idea and know when/how you will implement it, we would be very happy if you could let us know via our form, as we can then cite it as an example in the "pre-program", for example, so that people know what to expect and we can also better prepare for special needs (material, rooms, ...).

Come to the anarchist camp 2024 between the 12. and 20. august in Fehring in the Southern Styria to escape the capitalist everyday life and to create an anarchist space together.
We have a basic principle of queerfeminism, anticapitalism, antinationalism, antiracism and class criticism which the camp should be based on.
Let’s break hierarchical structures together, connect with each other, talk about current happenings, learn new things and enjoy the time with (new) friends.

Our goal is to create a self-organized camp where everyone helps along. You will also have the opportunity to share all kind of knowledge and skill by giving or joining workshops. It also needs organization beforehand, so if you could imagine helping in infrastructure, connections or content feel free to get in contact with us via [email protected] or just show up to our next plenary.

Kommt zum Anarchistischen Camp 2024 vom 12-20. August nach Fehring in der Südsteiermark, um dem kapitalistischen Alltag zu entkommen und gemeinsam einen anarchistischen Raum zu erschaffen!
Wir haben ein queerfemisitisches, antikapitalistisches, antinationales, antirassistisches und klassenkritisches Grundverständnis auf dem dieses Camp aufbauen soll.
Lasst uns zusammen hierarchische Strukturen brechen, uns vernetzen, uns über aktuelle Themen austauschen, neue Dinge lernen, und einfach eine schöne Zeit mit (neuen) Freund*innen und Mitmenschen verbringen.

Ziel ist es ein selbstorganisiertes Camp zu schaffen in dem Alle mithelfen. Ihr habt somit auch die Möglichkeit euer Wissen und Skills aller Art zu teilen indem ihr selber Workshops anbietet oder an welchen teilnehmt. Es braucht aber auch schon etwas Organisation davor, falls du dir vorstellen kannst bei Infrastruktur, Vernetzung oder Inhalten mitzuhelfen und deine Ideen einzubringen, komm gerne zum nächsten Organisationstreffen oder meld dich hier: [email protected]
