It occurs to me that all of the excitement & attention surrounding Harris has the effect of giving Biden a quiet space for doing the hard work of governing, something he is extremely effective at doing.

His decisions are no longer under the bright lights of the campaign press circus & its insatiable desire for a new scandal every hour on the hour. The GOP has lost any semblance of an attack strategy because Biden ignores them while Harris keeps setting fires under their tails.

Teamwork.
