Thanks for your suggestions and thoughtful response. I’m happy to say that as of today she has met with a doctor who seems much more open and willing to talk with her about possible ADHD symptoms.

Maybe or maybe she deserves a proper evaluation instead of lazy and dismissive responses from mental health professionals.

My wife is currently in the extremely frustrating struggle of adult-ADHD diagnosis. So far, no one is willing or, perhaps more accurately, capable of providing her with a proper psychiatric evaluation. Everyone she’s talked to tells her she just has anxiety or depression without offering any hint of a need to delve deeper. My heart goes out to those fighting to seek validation & help for something that many refuse to acknowledge.

As others have mentioned, far too many suspensions of disbelief in this one. I’m not sure which is more ridiculous though: Kirk hustling general public at chess winning enough money for a downtown Toronto hotel suite or the brutally awkward romance between La’an & Kirk.

Just made it from Brighton Heights back to South Hills. It was around 5pm for reference, so not great normally anyway. Absolute chaos - traffic, thunder storms, pedestrians. I'm fine mostly staying put this weekend.
