The premise is that one of you is infected, and you both know about it. You only have a little time left before the infected brother turns into an unthinking monster. Each of you have a deck of cards with questions to ask the other one, role-playing prompts which build into a complex story. Other cards advance the sickness or even end the game. It’s an intense journey, and the prompts can trigger powerful emotions. A few of my friends recorded themselves playing it. The video contains spoilers, especially as it goes on, so if it looks like a game you’d like to play you might want to stop watching around the halfway point. It’s a very interesting concept. You both know it’s going to end in tragedy from the start, but it still manages to kindle hope. Personally I haven’t played it yet, in part because I have had too much death in my own life recently, and it gets very heavy by the end. It’s fun to watch at least. I love this style of RPG.
