There was unfortunately at least one arrest and one person injured who had to take an ambulance.
The crowd was determined, responding to the riot cops with rocks and chunks of ice, as a constant stream of snowballs distracted and confused them. Courageous protesters also threw back tear gas capsules towards the police and aimed laser pointers at them, while others made calls to stay together and treated those affected by chemical weapons.
The demo was able to regroup after getting split up, and a Tesla charging station was attacked on the return route.
The SPVM's violence confirms that the struggle against ICE and GardaWorld is also a struggle against the police, here and everywhere.
