The struggle against police and prisons must always include the struggle against border violence and patrol.
What does the situation in Minneapolis reveal of our own migration policies here in Europe? Above all: why isn’t it being connected to Frontex?
Frontex is also responsible for the countless mass deportations in Europe as a main coordinator and financial contributor. They are responsible for creating systems which drive people into desparation and suicide in detention centres. Germany is supplying the highest number of officers each year to Frontex.
Shame on you! EU, Frontex & police - you have blood on your hands!
Lets stand together, lets keep each other safe. All prison, all cops and all borders have to go.
#Frontex, is building an app for people who are voluntarily or forcibly deported from Europe, as part of its EU Reintegration Programme (#EURP).
The app will come equipped with an ‘AI chatbot’ feature, which allows deportees to learn about the available services within the program. This includes the opening hours of the nearest return counseling centers or the financial incentives to travel back to their country of citizenship.

Kommt zu unserer Veranstaltung 🤝
In diesem Workshop möchten wir Wissen über die Schlüsselrolle der EU-Grenzschutzagentur Frontex im Grenzregime der Festung Europa vermitteln, ihre gewalttätigen Praktiken beleuchten und aufzeigen, wie sie Menschen auf der Flucht in Gefahr bringt.
Außerdem wollen wir Themen wie die Militarisierung der Grenzen ansprechen und sie mit dem antimilitaristischen Widerstand in Verbindung bringen.
Das Mandat und die Ressourcen von Frontex werden stetig erweitert. Diese Erweiterungen werden von den EU-Mitgliedstaaten genehmigt und finanziert, darunter auch Pläne zur Eröffnung neuer Ausbildungszentren und zur Ausweitung ihrer Aktivitäten.
Wir wollen gemeinsam überlegen, wie wir uns dagegen organisieren und auf die Abschaffung des EU-Grenzregimes hinarbeiten können.
Student protest prevents Frontex recruiting event!
On Wednesday, December 3rd a group of fifty concerned students and allies on behalf of Abolish Frontex NL disrupted a networking event organized by Sefa (the University of Amsterdam study association for Economics and Business Students) during their ‘career week’ on behalf of Frontex, the European border and coast guard agency.

💥Training for Brutality? - Stop Frontex Partnership Academies💥
All over Europe, Frontex is expanding its repressive border regime through training programmes. In Warsaw the first dedicated Training Center is set to open in October 2026. At the same time in over 40 so-called Partnership Academies all over Europe border guards are trained under the banner of “security” and “European cooperation.” These Academies are nothing less than a militarized training ground to increase capacities for border violence, inhumane detention, deportation, and denial of safety to millions of people on the move. They are laying the ground for a transnational infrastructure of exclusion and control. Every euro invested in Frontex training means more pushbacks, more deaths at sea, and more suffering for people on the move.
‼️We reject the normalization of border violence through academic partnerships and police training programs. Universities, local authorities, and EU member states must withdraw their support from these academies immediately.

On December 18th: Stop the Violence: Rise Up Against Frontex’s Training for Border Brutality!
On December 18th, International Migrants Day, we are calling for decentralised actions against the escalating militarisation of Europe’s border regime We must resist the increasing capacity for deadly policing. Resistance starts with dismantling Frontex’s training infrastructure.
Frontex is pouring millions of euros into its first dedicated Training Center in Warsaw, set to open in October 2026. This center will be an exclusive factory for border police, intending to train over 200 officers per year and aims to rapidly expand its reach to other EU member states. This new center, alongside its existing “Partnership Academies” (link to partnership academies), is nothing less than a militarized training ground to standardize and normalize inhumane detention, deportation, and denial of safety to millions of people on the move. This is not about security; it’s about increasing the capacity for cruelty.
On December 18th, we call on you to organize decentralized actions to resist this deadly regime and its training apparatus.
From across Europe and North Africa, we will send an undeniable message: We will not stand by as Frontex recruits and trains border guards to inflict violence against people on the move!
