I caved and bought an app to delete old tweets from Twitter. Interesting to see my stats, with 2-3k tweets/yr in 2008-2010, then tapering into a steady state of 100-200/yr. Mastodon already has a “feeling” more like 2008 Twitter, which kind of feels… good?

2008 timeframe on Twitter was, for me, the alt.net era and represented a significant community building moment that I look back on fondly.
