@rnalife I'm not sure I subscribe to we are just as bad so I'll brush it aside but can understand those that can compartmentalize social issues vs just the tournament itself.

@trogdor agreed such a corrupt body. As a business leader - major brands decision to continue sponsorship must have sparked some heated discussions.
I feel dirty watching this #WorldCup I look forward to it every 4 years but impossible to ignore Qatar's stance on human rights. Does this change your enthusiasm for the tournament?
@JenMc same, I havent yet found the information I get over there but will happy to fully embrace this when I do. I got rid of Facebook years ago, happily do the same with Twitter.
@Doohickie thanks. I agree it won't die but I think it will have significant challenges before it becomes it's next version. Can it survive it, we will see.
My Twitter feed is the slowest I can remember it ever being. Maybe the movement here is actually working. Fun to be an early adopter.
