I saw a vid about holography and it has brought to mind childhood plans to do holography I didn't finish. Now I find I could go to a 4 hour workshop and actually do it!

I was doing a bit of squarching but it's hard to toot about... Basically, I got a box that puts out a squarchy sound.
I'm off to Ithaca to do a bit of grain quality analysis. I'm baking up goods from hybrid strains of promising historical strains that will grow happily in a damp, cool spot such as ours in NY.
I was out walking this morning and, on a road passing from Brooklyn into Long Island City, I almost lost my footing. It was as if I was walking on a floating boat rocking black and forth, but I was on land! I thought it was in my brain, but my companion was also stumbling, so probably a tiny quaking of land. Unusual for this spot, but historically a possibility. That or a big truck.
