I'm a climate activist with XR in Rome. Last week a member of XR Boston wrote me asking to help them with a campaign (NNFFI) to stop new fossil fuels infrastructures in Massachusetts; their Governor was coming in Italy and they wanted us to organize a little protest. We patched it up in a day and we made it to their local news! It was a cheerful moment of international solidarity and collaboration, and I hope to see more of it 🌱

On Thursday, Extinction Rebellion Rome took up their Boston allies' outcry, according to the group's Facebook page. At least two protestors staked out Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City holding "No New Fossil Fuel Infrastructure In Massachusetts" signs.
