New here to Mastodon and this is my first post. Trying to figure out the server system and reading posts talking about how here we're people rather than users. All of a sudden I had a flashback to #Geocities from back in the 1990s. (I used to be a member of the CapitolHill community there.) Is this a modern version of that concept?
