My nails were thin, bendy, and tore a couple years ago but now holy heck. Not optional maintenance. Gradually finding the nail care products that work and hold up to chips and machining coolant.
So far Qualichem Xtremecut 250C vs Sally Hansen Hard as Nails is doing ok. Trying an OPI next. There’s about four other things that just peel right off not mentioned.
This is much more of a mystery materials science problem given my intermittent exposure to coolants, oils, anaerobic adhesives etc. At least I’m not production anymore. No more being drenched in cheap shit Oak DSO and DSS.
