Actually there’s one part of Windows that doesn’t suck – font rendering. Even with fonts copied straight out of C:\Windows\Fonts, no matter how many config files I edited, I couldn’t recreate Microsoft’s ClearType.

The main difference is that nobody considers referring to Whoopi Goldberg as Caryn Elaine Johnson a hate crime.

That ~25% of American adults is too dumb to deserve to vote. You should be able to show some kind of basic intelligence and common sense in order to have a say in how a country should be run – it should be based on merit. I even have a name for that: meritocracy!
