@TomWellborn most religions and their associated texts/rules are simply the codification of whatever cultural morals and values that happened to exist at that moment. Judaism & Christianity are rooted in Bronze Age bullshit. Islam reflects the tribal customs (and violence) of the Arabian peninsula.
