People complain about people wanting games to be more like #Skyrim , but the problem with that is that Skyrim explores its own lore with all its constant quests and books and such. Games which establish far better fantastical elements such as #Pokemon and #Zelda don't.
Pokémon just takes broad concepts and sells a new legendary card but never really chooses anything to go with, and god forbid you should do anything but challenge gyms.
Zelda looked back *once* in A Link Between Worlds, but in BotW, everything's just names and the ruined Temple of Time.
Putting mysteries in games that have no answer is worse than putting mysteries in games that can be answered or delved deeper into by playing other games in the series. But #Nintendo doesn't believe in stories. It doesn't believe in video games as an art form. And all indie developers wanna do is either cash in or tell you some story about their drop-out bandmates that you can't relate to.
