Surveillance in Shanghai：
A corner of "Xintiandi" (新天地) subway station. There are at least 100 surveillance cameras in this station alone. There is another name of this station: Site of the First National Congress of CCP (Chinese Communist Party).

China's new generation surveillance tech is leveraging AI to target Telegram and VPN users: over 30 billion messages were collected, 70 million Telegram accounts and 390,000 public channels and groups are under surveillance.
By analyzing shopping records, search histories, social media posts, the system aims to flag high-risk individuals. It's powered by AI agents developed on Dify, an open-source platform for building LLM-based applications.

据香港《南华早报》报道，在最近举行的第十二届中国国际警用装备博览会上，公安部第三研究所展示了一款能监控Telegram的工具，据称该工具目前已收集超过300亿条消息，监控了7000万个Telegram账户，以及39万个公共频道和群组。

We are now living in an age of surveillance-camera consciousness, where our behaviour and perceptions are mediatised by surveillance cameras. They invade our consciousness and become internalised as part of ourselves.
