There are no doors or windows at ground level here on the west side of the house. A beautiful rose garden, separated by a tall fence, lies to the north, and the front of the house is to your south. A large lawn bordering the lake lies to the west.
This is a little-used storage closet containing odds and ends of no interest whatsoever. The exit is to the east.
This is the south end of a large temple. In front of you is what appears to be an altar. In one corner is a small hole in the floor which leads into darkness. You probably could not get back up it.
This is a secret room south of the Audience Chamber. A dark and narrow stairway leads down as well.
You are at the north end of the Ocean Road, a narrow north/south road on the east edge of the island. The Wharf Road starts to the northwest, and a back alley starts off to the southwest.
The Stellar Patrol has opened a recruitment office off Broadway, thus giving tacit approval to this technically nonregulation space village. Posters showing a rose-colored view of Patrol life are plastered all over the walls. A door leads south.
This is a rock garden in the Japanese style, east of Linder's bedroom. A few smooth round boulders lie partly buried in a bed of gravel, which is carefully raked to be reminiscent of flowing water.
You are below the surface of the lake. It turns out that the lake is quite shallow and the bottom is only a few feet below you. Considering the frigid temperature of the water, you should probably not plan an extended stay. The lake bottom is sandy and a few hearty plants and algae live there.
This is the floor of a cove off the turbulent ocean to the east. The ground slopes upward to the north, west, and south. Light filters down from the surface of the water.
You are in a dark and damp cellar with a narrow passageway leading north, and a crawlway to the south. On the west is the bottom of a steep metal ramp which is unclimbable.
