Airline ticketing fees. Concert fees. Bank overdraft fees. Fees for everything.

Corporations call them “convenience fees” or “service fees.” Probably because they “conveniently” “serve” to pad their bottom lines, costing Americans at least $29 billion/yr.

It’s all a huge scam.

We're in the Second Gilded Age just like the first — when America's wealth was in the hands of a few, conspicuous consumption existed alongside homelessness and hunger, monopolies destroyed competition, big money corrupted politics, unions were busted, and wages were suppressed.

Michigan is on its way to becoming the first state in 60 years to repeal its right-to-work law.

Know this: these anti-union laws found in states across the country are making our nation's staggering inequality even worse.

"Right-to-work"? More like "right-to-work-for-less."
