Had this idea for years in my head (yes I know it's cheating, but sometimes I just need an hour extra parking time). And now they made it. Story of my life. But sometimes I just can't get myself to start creating from an idea...
Because I'm a dumb fuck, I accidentally hit the bottom of my table leg with my router. I'm patching it up now. Hope it's gonna look ok. #BoardgameTable#DIY
Glued up 2 legs for my #DIY#Boardgametable. Also made some brackets to prevent bolts to widen the holes in the wood. There should be no wiggle in the legs, but in time legs can wobble because the holes in the wood just erode.
Added metal strip, underside and skirts to my #DIY#Boardgametable. Some bolts are sticking out, because I'm a sloppy worker. And I was 4 screws short, because I'm working with half a plan, that changes every time. But all in all I made some progress.
Testfit of my #DIY#GameboardTable skirts. Took me a whole day to adjust all measurements, because I didn't cut correctly the first time (next time I'll measure twice and cut a little larger). Space for the legs should be 7cm by 7cm. But now they are 6,5cm by 6,5cm. I'll just make the top of the legs 6,5cm and the rest 7cm.
Finished the pit walls on my #DIY#BoardgameTable. Also did a round over with the router on the inside and outside, because the router wouldn't fit after the walls are attached.
Started a new project (while a hundred others are still on hold, laying around in plain sight). A #DIY#BoardgameTable that can be used as a dinner table too.
