synapse seemingly has the pro in terms of support for tools such as synapse admin: https://github.com/Awesome-Technologies/synapse-admin
and the ability to use oauth and handle user management using solutions such as authentik.
while conduit seems to be more resource efficient and better in terms of speed?

A couple of months ago, I had quite a heated call with a medium-size family business owner who was quite vocal, accusing us of going behind his back and sharing the IR report with the insurance company who hired us.
He was
He was screaming at us that they were dropping him as a client and only paying a small fraction of the damage.
While this requirement was clearly explained in the insurance policy and by us before starting work.
Normally, I would feel a bit bad in circumstances like this where it concerns a family business.
However, I must say it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.
While performing the DFIR engagement, we discovered that passwords to nearly all embedded systems, including the firewall, were left on default, which left quite a gaping security hole.
As such, we were curious as to who did the implementation of these systems.
Only to discover that their MSP dropped them as a client since they refused to pay while a modernization of systems was taking place, leaving the work unfinished.
And these fees seem to have not been paid yet, at least according to a recent judgement against the company involved.

Just attempted to go shopping for clothes, and while I know the quality has gone down across the board it was sad to see how much quality has dropped.
Even on so called luxury brands, the quality has dropped dramatically, the cloth, the stitching, the material it has all gone downhill.
For example quite a few clothes I came across used overlocking for structural parts without using another stitch to actually provide strength. 🫠
At this point I am honestly considering getting a sewing machine, some bolts of fabric, some patterns and attempting to sew my own clothes. #frustration #clothes #clothing #sewing #quality #lowQuality
