Is it just me, or are #mastodon api responses super slow? Takes forever for post comments to load

@brandonscript it would be nice if our government focused on things that Canadians actually want.
Like fixing our broken healthcare, or the fact that a 1 bedroom apartment costs $3000 a month in rent.
Nobody was complaining about Canadian content being lost in the noise. Why was C-11 even conceived?

@simonbs I’ve been waiting forever for this feature to finally get added.
While I’m not happy with FB and googles decision, I don’t blame them for it.
The current government here in Canada is a joke.
@simonbs this is probably why observable objects are deprecated in iOS 17.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve wanted to do something like this.

Apollo has an opt-out sub refund screen out. Since I unfortunately know, first hand, all about this process I'll say this is all incredibly stressful. If you ever had a sub for Apollo, even if you uninstalled it and deleted Reddit, go check it out and at least consider it.
It's probably only a few $s for you but those $s get multiplied by 10s of thousands of subs and end up being real money straight out of Christian's pockets.
@christianselig did you ever consider letting us add our own Reddit API key to the app?
I can’t stand the official Reddit app. And unfortunately, there is nothing that competes with Reddit right now.
@caseyliss unfortunately there isn’t much in the ways of testing tools for concurrency. @pointfreeco did a really good podcast episode a few days ago going over the limitations of testing swift concurrency code.
