@therandomviking Okay. I read on your profile that you are a communist. That explains a lot
@therandomviking Did you understand anything from what I wrote? Because at this point you are just trolling. You rely on data. Statistics, numbers. Am I speaking too difficult words for you?
@ClusterBomb I don't use Qwant because it has terrible search results. But I do use Ecosia and see no reason to stop. I don't care how eco-friendly they are. The British equivalent is not better at all.

@voorstad I suspect they are simply on social where there are more users. It's a niche search engine, and promoting yourself on a niche platform would be silly from a marketing point of view. As far as I can see, Ecosia also uses Amazon's servers. So it's not as European as we'd like it to be.
@ukrdef That's not taking security into our own hands, it's imposing censorship and taking away people's freedom, pretending it's for our security. You propose to throw away years of democracy to impose the will of a minority on everyone. This is called dictatorship.
@Magnusloev After an unpleasant experience with Qwant, where the search results were awful and very outdated, I tried Ecosia and see no reason to go back to Google anymore. I hope that now these two search engines will gain more popularity and Qwant will improve its search algorithm and interface (no news tab in the some regions. News is too regional for me).
@BuyEU I always buy there. They have good consumer protection. Just beware of products that have a shipping time of 14 days or longer, as these are the people who order from China 3x cheaper directly to your address
