Just voted today and not feeling very excited about it, actually terrified, for next week.

I feel like my community lives in the fantasy world of "let's grow our own food" and "move to the country" when no one actually has the means to uplift their whole life, let alone the capability to grow enough food to live off of.

We are all exhausted parents who can barely make it though the week of toddler life.

It's been a while! And it's been a year! I just turned 45, celebrated 2 years on HRT and managed to get 4 gender-affirming surgeries in this year.

I am trying to ditch other social media and find more substantive connection and interactions, which is why I am back here.

But anyway, Hi (again), my name is Wren (she/her), I am a 44 yo trans woman currently living in Baltimore. I started this journey middle of last year (14 months on HRT). I work in IT, I have two kids, I am married (7 years), love the outdoor (not happy to live in a city, but as far as cities go Bmore isn't that bad). Looking to eventually move out of 'merica.

For 2024 I have voice surgery on the books (Jan) and a trach shave schedule pending. Not sure if I will be getting anything else done, possibly because 2025 could be a shitshow for this country.
