Do I know anyone looking for software dev positions who can at least visit the bay area occasionally?
Spent the weekend with an old friend from Virginia. Had looooong, in-depth conversations with folk about fulcrums for inequity (including the effects of affirmative action and marriage on the here and now), gender & sexuality & race. Thinking warmly of my time with Cultivate the Karass.
Also we had a low boil that was AMAZING and there was a very inquisitive puppy.
I received the most delightful expectation-setting email for a summit I'm facilitating - introduces everyone, covers their role, sets rules for email exchanges, and has lots of emojis. Be still my process-based heart.
Thinking about that time I got so enthusiastic at someone about Seattle that they left their life behind to move there. And had a really rough time of things (like maybe nearly homeless at one point?). But now are super happy, fulfilled, and sustainable there.
...use your powers responsibly, kids. I know I haven't always.
