On the loom, hopefully soon OFF the loom because it's been there for ages and I have a lot of yarn to put on the looms.
The plan is to cut the floats (the wide bits of the thicker theads) so that when I wash it the ends will fuzz up and make an interesting texture. Hope it works!
Well look who came crawling back (look who remembered to post on social media in other words).
Fresh on the loom tonight, one of my personal favourite colour combos.
Something new going onto the little loom (the big loom is full of scrap and leftover yarn for a sewing project).
New to the shop! The Silver Linings Scarf features a pleasing range of colours mixed with a deliciously soft and fluffy white. Paired with a finer cotton for even more texture, and it even has a thin strand of metallic thread for some sparkle. Cotton, acrylic. Vegan.

Cotton, Acrylic152cm long, 16.5cm wide with an 8 cm braided fringe.(60" x 6.5" approx)Not quite a rainbow, it lacks a true yellow if we're going to be harsh on the yarn (and we are) but a pleasing range of colours anyway! The colours are blended with a fluffy white that is extra soft and pleasing to touch. In contrast, one side of the scarf is woven in very thin white cotton to highlight the chunky textures. A thin strand of metallic thread gives this one a subtle sparkle. A shorter scarf, more for wearing loose (perhaps under a big collar if you have one handy) but you can wrap it if you want to, I cannot stop you and wouldn't dream of trying.I have done my best to show you the colours as they are, but monitors do vary.
Oh the other one worked too (I've had tech issues, I promise I didn't swear much)
Also new to the shop! The Subtle Stripe Scarf, for those who like a stripe in a gentle way. The ends have leno lace details to be fancier. Merino.

Merino214cm long, 13.5cm wide (84" x 5.3" approx) with an 11cm twisted fringe. Ideal for people who enjoy stripes, but don't like to be too flashy about it. Mostly soft shades of pink, this scarf also features blues, greens and even some purples. The weft yarn (side to side) also has a light fleck which adds some texture and visual interest and visual interest is so important in this fast paced world. Each end is decorated with a leno lace detailing for just a little bit of pizzazz.I have done my best to show you the colours as they are but monitors do vary.
New to the shop! The Wildflower scarf is a soft mix of pink, blue and yellow in cotton, acrylic and linen. Vegan.
Cotton, Acrylic, Linen219cm long, 11.5cm wide with an 8.5cm braided fringe.(86" x 4.5" approx) Spring will always be in the air when you wear this one. Patches of pink, blue and yellow on a blue warp. Softly textured for extra visual interest as well as being very tactile. What I'm saying here is it's nice to touch and very soft against the skin. This is a more lightweight scarf, it's probably not going to keep you particularly warm in the winter but for cooler evenings in the warmer months (this makes sense I promise) it'll take the chill off. Or you can just wear it because it's pretty, that is always an acceptable reason to wear things.I have done my best to show you the colours as they are, but monitors do vary.
