Welcome! You are invited to join a webinar: What's it like to edit Wikipedia? Hear it from the students themselves. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the webinar.

Each year Wiki Education collaborates with more than 12,000 students editors who join the ranks of Wikipedians. In this panel, we'll hear from four students across disciplines on what it was like to edit Wikipedia as first-time editors. We'll discuss the different ways they contributed to Wikipedia from creating new articles to improving existing ones. And we'll also touch on what it was like to join the Wikipedia community, interact with fellow editors, and how their overall experience was in contributing to the largest, most widely accessible encyclopedia in the world? Our speakers are: * Emma Clayton, Lone Star College - Kingwood * Emma Dunsmuir, Simon Fraser University * Erin Diaz, Utah State University * Tabéa Benlakehal, Concordia University This edition of the Wiki Education Speaker Series is hosted by Wikipedia Expert Brianda Felix (who also edited Wikipedia for the first time as a student in Wiki Education's Student Program).
