I think you’re right on the money with kids needing the examples of playing. Just watching other kids play is a normal part of development. As far as videos go there is a good Ms Rachel video on playground skills This one I think. The video would kind of psych them up to go to the playground.

I never heard run like a girl but “throw like a girl” meant when I was young throwing with just your arm so it’s like a pushing motion almost. Like how 4 to 5 year olds throw before they learn to use their core and hips.

I bet if you put up an ad, on Facebook marketplace or whatever your equivalent is, stating that you are willing to pick up boxes of books (I’d recommend a 3 or 4 box minimum but whatever) people will contact you.

Kids parties at home are fun because they are cheap but the downside is you have to host and clean. Parties at destinations are more expensive but you don’t have to clean and if the place is exciting enough you don’t have to host either. Pick your poison.
