Actual footage of my supervisors receiving my latest exegesis drafts.
I want to know what goes on in this room before my class. A bunch of these post it notes were on the wall in thematic groups. Wishing for things like greater urban density, walkable cities, an end to misogyny (specifically as expressed through alpha male podcasts), housing affordability & peace. Seem like cool folks.
Honouring here this noble member of our community, a bollard that is snapped off every week, replaced the following week, on repeat. This week it’s been returned with some reflective tape and a traffic cone guardian. Long may it serve us.
A few days ago 60-odd folks on here shared their lovely pets with me, so here’s one of mine. Davy Jones, pirate legend, having a big ol’ sleep.
I’ve been meaning to get involved in the community garden for a while and today finally did it, by attending a fermentation workshop & meeting some lovely people. There’s a few spare plots I’m eyeing off now, if they’d tolerate my haphazard approach to gardening :-)
Where I live the season is kambarang, which is what the traditional owners call the time of birth. It’s a beautiful time & when I walk with my dogs I try to pay attention to all the vegetation that is changing & flowering.
It’s a summer evening cool enough to put a cardigan on. After working in the garden all day, I’m sitting by the open window, the breeze is fresh and the birds are drinking from the bird bath in our garden. Perfect.
Check out this sweet little top I made for a Christmas present. Hope the recipient likes it 💜
Day 18: dusty pink has entered the chat. (32 degrees)
#TemperatureBlanket2023 #BirakI somehow deleted a toot so here’s the blanket to day 15.
