"Forever" (and, by extension, "never") is a strong word - it should be used sparingly. Things very rarely last forever - there is most often an end of some sort. And when there is, and when it comes, you end up resembling a fool who over-exaggerates what they say and can’t take responsibility for their actions. I don't get why people hate on Lua. It's simpler than Python but just as powerful, it's about as fast as C++ when using LuaJIT and it's super easy to embed into other platforms. What's not to love?
