Not sure what I think of Mastodon yet as a new user. I’ve been lurking a little and it seems difficult to be naturally introduced to content (topics) that I’m interested in. On the off chance someone reads this - what did you do to make Mastodon work for you?

@keremgoart no worries! Sorry I couldn’t be more help - lemmy can be a little confusing but I do hope you find what you’re looking for and get good engagement!
@keremgoart I’m not sure how exactly a server advertises themselves as NSFW friendly, but so long as they’re open for indexing and you join a server that similarly doesn’t have any blocks for NSFW content you should be able to view it fine. For example I joined lemmy.world and if I search “boobs” or whatever I can see a list of different communities and their respective servers.
@keremgoart you could try lemmy? The engagement may still be low but you will benefit from the “small community” feel and be helping to contribute to the platform growth. There’s nothing stopping you from posting on both I guess.
