I think the creaking stage of the bluebird will continue for months, according to an article I just read, in that the glitches get fixed slower and are less successful, the slow-down of traffic will mean that everything becomes less tolerable, the increase in garbage spilling everywhere will mean tweeters will get tired of seeing things they don't want and then will attempt to form an orderly queue at Mastodon's unassuming doors. I will wait and see what transpires!

Indeed, it will be an intriguing time I hope, one of discovery and adaption to the fediverse. I am hopeful and keen to converse. The lovely people I know who have joined already are those I appreciate for their qualities of intellect, wisdom, kindness and so on. I don't believe they are the sort to wreck a train carriage or put their feet on someone else's sofa!

That's an excellent blog and captures the upheaval that people who've been here for a long time are experiencing. I hope that we can settle down into a less intense and more gentle way of doing things.
