in the future, all women (binary gender is enforced by corpo-states and defined by the ability to bear a child) live within unending vr romantasy stories written by ai companies owned by men (again, cis) (because seeing women authors profit from writing and publishing books was an affront and anyway ai can do it better and more efficiently) while their bodies are used for procreation. men are ferried around sterile bubble environments (outside is toxic and on fire and full of plagues) by ai-controlled robots that perform all functions, from basic to advanced, for them, and which actualize their every idea. they exist in a permanent meme-state creating viral videos for each other's praise. they all have incredibly strong jawlines and good hair. they have never spoken to a woman; it is considered obsolete. slogans DO IT BECAUSE YOU CAN and MAXX AGENCY are ubiquitous. anyone who exists outside this strict binary or is otherwise considered undesirable works in the coltan mines. human labourers are highly expendable
