I have seen these mini-cars using bike lanes in Toronto and about a few of the designs I must say I'm a bit jealous.

@brewsterkahle These seem sensible in reasonably flat areas, especially areas with light traffic. But I wonder about these with a full load trying to go up Jones St. in San Francisco or, potentially worse, brake fade going *down* Green Street.

as for steep hills: I tested the zeromax on the lombard zig-zag: no problem.

super steep part of Simonds Loop in SF and it skidded and was a problem. so needs work there.

An electric smart car has no problems at all. That is a fabulous car, but larger.
